Message efficiency alone:

14.5psi boost
180F turbo discharge temp
90% IC eff
90F ambient temp
99F ICTOUT 37.2C
2.2418kg/m^3

14.5psi boost
180F discharge temp
90% IC eff
60F ambient temp
72F ICTOUT 22.2C
2.3557kg/m^3

5.08% increase in density

SAE Correction factors for different ambient temp changes
90F SAE CF = 101.4%
60F SAE CF = 98.1%
DIFF: 3.3%

5.08 - 3.3 = 1.78% difference between the SAE correction and what really happens just with an intercooler in the picture.

Add into this the differences in turbocharger discharge temperatures as ambient temperatures change and it is pretty clear how poor the SAE correction factor is with turbocharged and intercooled setups.
